AMI Continental II – A Musical Rocket from 1962

For its time, it was a radically modern design, turning the jukebox into the centerpiece of any room, not just a music player.

The Continental II could play up to 100 records, delivering 200 selections in rich stereo sound that easily filled the space. The visible record changer added to the performance — every selection felt like a little mechanical show.

The brand behind it, AMI (Automatic Musical Instruments), was one of the major jukebox manufacturers of the time, and the Continental II became its most iconic model. Whether in a dance hall or a classic American diner, this jukebox demanded attention.
